When the original design put this project in the red, the developer called Performance Engineering. By reworking the stormwater and sewer design and using natural materials, we were able to save our client almost $400,000, making the phase profitable and future installations less expensive.

Skyrocketing power bills, low-pressure zones and high-pressure spikes wreaked havoc on the community of Cooke City. Performance Engineering was brought in to evaluate the malfunction of the 2011-built water system. Our team conducted a thorough system analysis and completed modifications of the existing equipment. The result? Happier residents and a 60% reduction in system operating costs.

Modifications of 60-year-old Tunnel 2 last occurred in the 1990s, and it shows. Part of the tunnel has collapsed, and failures have become more common, resulting in loss of water to over 30,000 acres.

To date, Performance Engineering has helped the district secure over $1.2 million in grant funding to begin making critical, life-saving improvements.
